If that's your real photo, you stand a good chance! You need legs right up to your armpits for that job, of course!
I could 'Splice a mean Mainbrace' in my day! (daydreamin' agen!). I Actually once 'fell' for a chorus girl who was in panto at the Leeds Theatre Royal, (1948?)She did audition for the Tiller Girls but I never found out if she was successful cos I was 'Posted ' overseas and it was 'On with the New' time again! Hey ho! Wonder if Simon has got the mural answer yet? Arry

If I was going to put up a photo of someone else it would be someone a lot better looking heh.

Indeed Tyke Bhoy...that sign I found is in Hyde Park. It's at the back of the row of shops on Brudenell Rd. There is another one on the front.
In response to the metal gate you can see...it's ironic that this sign is just round the corner from the street that was reportedly the most burgled street in the country. |
I mentioned this one earlier in the thread I think - I took photos and everything but I'm way to disorganised to have put them up. well done!

Might just do that! Do you sit up all night on the PC? Ure msg timed very early, on here! Re the 'muriel', the dartboard rings a bell in remembering the advt!
Weren't there a few 'Bovril' ones posted up there too? I recall one of a bloke in striped pyjam's, out at sea, clinging to a huge bottle of bovril and saying,'Bovril prevents that Sinking feeling!' Have to start a new thread to do with famous adverts? Cheers Arry
